Chairman

Dr. Gupta brings more than 40 years of technical, managerial, and leadership experience. He founded EER Systems, which specializes in scientific systems development for various federal agencies and the military, and pioneering commercial space launches with NASA, attaining revenues of $150 million with some 1,500 employees in 2000. Recently, he has retired as Group President of L-3 Communications Government Services Group. Currently he is an active investor in several entities globally, including startups. Dr. Gupta received his Bachelor's degree from the Indian Institute of Technology, Master's from Queens University, Canada, Ph.D. from Purdue University, and MSA from George Washington University.

Dr. Goel is a former World Bank official and global expert on innovation and competitiveness who brings 35+ years of international experience in R&D, technology commercialization, and private sector development. He is one of the pioneers of Inclusive Innovation, a concept gaining currency as a means of expanding the benefits of technology to a wider global audience. He has led the design and implementation of numerous complex development projects with budgets of up to $500 million. Dr. Goel is also a senior consultant at World Bank (previously Chief of Financial Management), and founder of Lagom Group, an international advisory firm. He holds MBA with distinction and Ph.D. from Cornell University, and a Masters from NDRI, India.

Ramesh Mashelkar, PhD, FRS

Dr. Ramesh Mashelkar is the National Research Professor, and President of the Global Research Alliance, a network of publicly funded R&D institutes in Asia, Europe, and the United States with over 60,000 scientists. He is the former Director General of Indian Council of Scientific and Industrial Research, overseeing 38 national R&D labs and 5,000 scientists. He was the Chancellor of the Acedemy of Scientific and Innovative Research. Dr. Mashelkar is also one of the pioneers of the Inclusive Innovation, a concept getting highly popular in emerging economies. He is on the Boards of several leading Indian corporations and top higher education institutions, and the chairman of multiple life science, biotech, and VC companies. He has received 38 honorary doctorates, including those from the University of Wisconsin and University of London. Dr. Mashelkar received his Master's and PhD from the Institute of Chemical Technology in Mumbai, India.

Dr. Gleitman currently serves as Chairman of the Guangzhou Israel Biotech Fund, Chairman of Capital Point Ltd, Board member and Chairman of Audit and Financial Committees of Elbit Systems, Chairman of YoYa Group, and Senior Advisor to the World Bank on innovation policy. He has also been the Honorary Consul General of Singapore to Israel since 1999, as well as serving as Honorary Senior Advisor to the Guangzhou Development District in China and Senior Strategy Advisor to the Serbia Innovation Fund. Throughout his career, Dr. Gleitman has been involved at the highest level in several technical areas, holding roles from Chief Scientist at the Israeli Ministry of Industry & Trade, to Head of Laser Branch at the Israeli Ministry of Defense R&D. He has also been a partner in several VC firms. Dr. Gleitman received his M.S. and PhD with distinction from Hebrew University of Jerusalem. He was awarded the Bintag Bakti Masyarakat (Public Service Star) medal by Singapore in 2010.

Dr. Miloš Matković is a Resident in Cardiac Surgery at the Clinical Center of Serbia and is also pursuing his PhD studies in reconstructive medicine at the University of Belgrade. He has over 10 publications in cardiac surgery. He is also an active trainee member of the European Association of Cardiothoracic surgery. He recently also completed his Equivalence in cardiothroacic surgery from the Ministry of Health in Paris, France. Dr. Matković's professional experiences range from telemedicine to aortic dissection treatments. His professional interests include valvular reconstruction surgery, heart transplantation, minimally invasive surgery, Coronary Artery Bypass Grafting, mechanical circulatory support, Grown Ups with Congenital Heart defects, and research. He brings his wealth of experience in cardiovascular and minimally invasive surgery to Centerline. He holds his Masters of Science in Surgical anatomy of congenital heart defects and his Medical Doctor degree from the University of Belgrade.

Gaurav has leveraged publicly-available information and his personal network to develop marketing intelligence for generating leads. As an Advisor to Centerline Biomedical, Gaurav brings his extensive network and Business Development/Sales experience to help expand Centerline and IOPS’s reach. Gaurav holds his Masters of Finance and Control and his Bachelor’s degree in Commerce from Lucknow University.
